Why should we be so excited?

I don't understand this. Ok lets start at the begining.

Remember when you were a kid and you got that shiny new toy? The one you dreamed about for so long and it was all good when you finally got it. You were mesmerized and facinated with it for days. But then the shiny glamour rubbed off. The pricless must have toy suddenly wasn't so must have. It was nothing special. In short, it was just another toy destined to end up in your corner gathering dust.

This is how I see Obama. Right now he's all shiny and new, but face it people he is just like everyone else. He talks a big game but changes it to suit the mood of the mob, and we all know that they say the mob is Rome. Look, he is just another guy. He is not special. Sure at first we will all be full off oohs and ahhs, but very shortly we will realize that he is no different from anyone else. And then what?

Everyone is clamouring around him like he is the second coming. He is just a politician. We will all see that he is not prepared for this job. So live it up now. Enjoy the shiny new toyness of it all. I say just don't be throwing a fit when the truth of it all comes out.
